BROWNSVILLE - An innovative playground designed to inspire kids to use their brains during recreational time is coming to Brownsville.

The Parks Department and the Rockwell Group Architecture firm unveiled plans for the playground at the Betsy Head Park today.

The playground comes equipped with movable foam pieces that allow kids to create their own structures. The park's creators say it will be the second park of its kind in the world.

Officials say it is set to open in the spring of 2015.
