BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn movie theater is showing movies nominated for the Oscars.

The Syndicated Theatre on Borgart Street in Bushwick opened last month as a full service dine-in theater where customers order food while they watch movies.

The theater will be screening Oscar-nominated short films for the next three days and move on to some bigger films leading up to the Academy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 28.

And if you are looking for a ticket, it's a little too late, the theater staff says, as all showings are sold out.

The theater's owner say he hopes the movies will bring in new customers and more business.

Staff members say they are still screening regularly showcased movies.
