BROOKLYN - Residents and activists in Bushwick are taking a stand against their landlords.

Protesters rallied Sunday afternoon, claiming their landlords are refusing to fix repairs to evict their tenants. Housing activists say the tactic is happening more frequently in the neighborhood, and it's time to put a stop to it.

The group called on Mayor Bill de Blasio to enact stricter housing enforcement laws to protect tenants from being kicked out of their homes.

The rally was organized by "Make the Road New York" and "Real Affordability For All."
