CONEY ISLAND - Shop owners say business at Coney Island will soon slow down as the summer comes to an end.

Business owners say that they are still recovering from out-of-pocket expenses from Superstorm Sandy.

One business owner said it wasn't a great summer, especially because the weather wasn't that great.

Another entrepreneur said that when the weather was good, so were the crowds.

The summer doesn't officially end until Sept. 22, but beaches begin to close Tuesday as the school year begins.
