BUSHWICK - Business owners in Brooklyn are thinking ahead to the summer season and looking for ways to draw more people to the borough.

A group of entrepreneurs, along with Borough President Eric Adams, launched The Brooklyn Nightlife and Restaurant Coalition to improve the industry and community relations. The group's goal is to help restaurant and bar owners find ways to help their businesses grow.

The owners of Roberta's Pizzeria in Bushwick have had a steady stream of business since opening in 2008. But, the owners say there are always ways to make things better, so they joined the coalition.

Coalition members say they plan to reach out to community board members and residents to get a better understanding of what people need and like.

Business owners hope people will make Brooklyn their summer destination to eat and have fun.
