Business students from St. Francis College compete in pitch challenge

The winners received money to help develop their dream business. (4/29/14)

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS - Business students from St. Francis College participated in a pitch challenge Tuesday, proposing business ideas to a group of judges.

"We are here to help them learn and advance and get to the point where their pitches are going to be magical," said Thomas Flood, who was one of the judges in the competition.

The students pitched ideas for selling costumes, space at a party hall and even a beer pong game for bars.

The winners received money to help develop their dream business. The college says it plans on continuing the contest next year since it was such a success.
