Businesses give freebies to ease Tax-Day stress

BROOKLYN - From sugary treats to morning coffee, restaurants and other businesses are giving away free products in an effort to reduce Tax-Day stress and drum up business.

One IHOP on Livingston Street is promoting ?Kids Eat Free? for the entire month of April for children under 12 during evening hours. Other retailers, such as Starbucks, are offering free coffee today for customers who bring in their own mugs.

Residents say they plan to use these freebies and are glad Tax Day is looking brighter.
