BROOKLYN - The cab driver involved in the Williamsburg hit-and-run that killed a young couple and their prematurely born child says the crash has changed his life.
"This maybe kind of changed my life," said Pedro Nunez. "All that I think about is my family. I got a wife and she don't work. I'm the only guy that work in my house and I gotta see if I can do something different."
Pedro Nunez was driving the Glauber family to the hospital on Sunday when a BMW allegedly driven by Julio Acevedo smashed into the cab.
Nunez says he didn't speak out sooner because he feared for his safety. He added that with Acevedo in custody, he hopes justice can finally be served.
After meeting with reporters, Nunez headed over to the Glauber family to pay his respects.
