Cabbie group ride project to begin in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN - The City Taxi and Limousine Commission's point-to-point shared group-ride vehicle service is expected to begin in Brooklyn next week.

The group-ride vehicles will take passengers left stranded after recent bus cuts.

The vehicles are marked 'group ride vehicle' and will cost $2 per rider.

The vans will follow the routes of the former B23, B39 and B71 buses.
