Camp for children with incarcerated parents opens

A day camp for children who have either one or both parents in prison opened in Bedford-Stuyvesant.Some of activities at the Children of Promise camp

BROOKLYN - A day camp for children who have either one or both parents in prison opened in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Some of activities at the Children of Promise camp include creative movement, drama and even therpeutic art. Counselors say the camp helps children adjust to trauma.

The camp is a non-profit and relies on funds from private donations or grants.
