BROOKLYN - Police are investigating what led to an early morning car crash that killed a young woman in Crown Heights. 

According to authorities, a 20-year-old man lost control of his vehicle at around 4 a.m., smashing into a total of 11 parked cars on Saint John's Place before coming to a stop near the intersection of Nostrand Avenue. 

Officers say that a 20-year-old woman riding in the vehicle was ejected. She was rushed to Kings County Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver was also taken to Methodist Hospital with minor injuries. 

The identities of the two people have not yet been released.
