Car crashes into Flatbush bodega

BROOKLYN - Residents say something needs to be done to make a Flatbush intersection safer after a car crashed into a popular bodega yesterday.Bodega owner Jaheem Mahia says yesterday marks the second time a car has hit his store, which is located near the intersection of Nostrand Avenue and Linden Boulevard. Several people were treated for minor injuries following yesterday's accident. Neighbors say the intersection is dangerous and that speeding is the biggest problem. Meanwhile, Mahia says he doesn't know when his bodega will be open for business again.
