Car crashes occur blocks away from each other at P.S. 246 and W & L Daycare Center in Flatbush

BROOKLYN - Two car crashes happened in Flatbush just a few blocks away from each other this afternoon.

Emergency crews say they received a 911 call at around 12:30 p.m. about a crash at P.S. 246 on Veronica Place. Video footage shows the car crashing into the corner fence of the school.

EMS told News 12 Brooklyn that one person had to be taken to Kings Brook Jewish Medical Center. That person is now in stable condition.

Neighbors say a car crashed into the fence in front of W & L Daycare Center at around the same time just a few blocks away on Lott Street.

The woman that runs the day care center says no one was injured.

Police say they are investigating both crashes.
