Car slams into Downtown Brooklyn scaffolding

Authorities say a Brooklyn man took his aunt on a wild ride along Myrtle Avenue that ended with him slamming into a scaffold Friday.Police say

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN - Authorities say a Brooklyn man took his aunt on a wild ride along Myrtle Avenue that ended with him slamming into a scaffold Friday.

Police say no one was seriously injured in the crash, though the driver was taken to the hospital.

Firefighters had to dig the car out from beneath the scaffolding's rubble after it came down.
