BROOKLYN - Some residents on Brighton Beach Avenue woke up to find that their car windows had been vandalized Wednesday.

One resident said when she went to file a police report about her car she discovered that there were 15 similar cases that had been reported. She says her Fendi glasses and her navigation system were also stolen from her car.

Many neighbors say this type of vandalism has been rampant in the area over the past two months. They also say that there are some surveillance cameras around, but they would like to see more security.

Authorities have yet to comment on the situation.
