Catherine McAuley High School will close its doors for good in June.

EAST FLATBUSH - Catherine McAuley High School students have started a petition in an effort to keep the Department of Education from closing the school in June.

Officials recently announced the school will close its doors due to declining enrollment and rising costs. Students say they were devastated over the decision and that they weren't given enough time to fundraise.
