Celebs hit red carpet in support of BK mentoring group

BROOKLYN - Celebrities hit the red carpet this weekend for the annual Black Girls Rock awards show supporting a Clinton Hill mentoring group.

The event is the brainchild of the Brooklyn-based Black Girls Rock, which is a youth empowerment and mentoring organization. The group strives to help girls of every hue discover their self-worth and inner beauty.

The awards show was held in The Bronx at the historic Paradise Theater on the Grand Concourse.
