Charges dropped against 2nd sex assault suspect

BROOKLYN - Charges have been dropped against a Park Slope sexual assault suspect arrested on Tuesday.

Officials say 32-year-old Joshua Flecha had been picked out of a lineup by the victim of an attack on May 7. However, they say she then recanted her claims and is no longer cooperating with police.

Authorities say they are continuing their efforts to track down the suspect or suspects they believe could be responsible in the 20 confirmed sexual assaults in Sunset Park, Windsor Terrace and Park Slope since March.

According to police, they are still holding the first suspect to be arrested in connection with the crimes. They say Adolfo Martinez, 26, is being charged with the groping of an 18-year-old on Oct. 10. 2nd arrest made in connection with BK sex crimes
