Charges dropped in Carroll Gardens pizzeria stabbings

BROOKLYN - Prosecutors have dropped charges against two men who were accused of slashing each other during an April fight at a Brooklyn pizzeria.

The men, Mark Iacono and Benny Geritano, were both charged with attempted murder. But a spokesman for the Brooklyn district attorney says neither man was willing to testify against the other.

Local residents say the pizzeria, Lucali on Smith Street, is up and running again.
