BROOKLYN - Children as young as 3 years old are using the most up-to-date technology to learn at the Learning Experience in Gravesend.

Students at the preschool work with a device called a "Starboard." The technology goes much further than just teaching them shapes and letters.

The kids can go on field trips to places like the Statue of Liberty without ever leaving the classroom.

Teachers say that the children are being prepared for the digital world.

The center hopes to eventually bring even more technology into the picture, through iPads and other high-tech tools.
