FLATBUSH - A local church is collecting food, clothing and other household items for those left homeless after a fire in Flatbush that killed one peson.

St. Stephen's Lutheran Church is helping those forced out of their homes by collecting the supplies and giving them out to those affected by last week's fire.

The church is still asking for donations; those wishing to donate may drop off supplies at the church on Newkirk Avenue Monday-Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
