BROOKLYN - A church group in Bedford-Stuyvesant is making dresses to send to African girls in need.

Members of Rugged Cross Baptist Church are using pillow cases to sew hundreds of dresses.

The church group teamed up with the Brooklyn Council of Churches to sew the dresses and ship them to Africa.

The group has sewn more than 200 dresses since they started in July.

Along with the dresses, they are also sending food to Africa.
