BROOKLYN - The city's new bike share program is in top gear.

Citi Bike riders have logged more than one million miles since the program was set into motion in Brooklyn and Manhattan on May 27.

Officials say that more than 100,000 people have hopped on one of the Citi Bikes.

There were 161,000 rides tallied in the last week alone.
