Police say a city bus driver was fatally stabbed by a passenger on his bus Monday afternoon.According to police, the incident occurred inside the driver?s

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - Police say a city bus driver was fatally stabbed by a passenger on his bus Monday afternoon.

According to police, the incident occurred inside the driver?s B46 bus on Malcolm X Boulevard. Authorities are now searching for the passenger they believe is responsible for the stabbing.

The driver, 46-year-old Edwin Thomas, was stabbed once in the chest and once in the stomach. He later died at Woodhull Hospital.
