BROOKLYN - Current city Comptroller John Liu has taken his campaign for the mayoral race to Brooklyn.

Liu met with voters and listened to their concerns at the 9th Street station in Park Slope Monday morning.

He said some of the top issues among the day’s commuters were the economy, rising housing costs and education.

News 12 asked him about George Zimmerman's acquittal in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. He responded in part, "Unfortunately it just shows that there is still not real justice when it comes to young men of color, unarmed being shot to death by police."
