BROOKLYN - Another City Council hearing was held in Brooklyn tonight regarding the city's response to the December blizzard.
Many residents voiced their frustration with the city's admittedly slow response to the snowstorm that dumped nearly two feet of snow across the borough. Following the storm, many Brooklyn streets went unplowed for days.
Council members, senators, assemblymen and a worker from the Department of Sanitation were among those in attendance; however, a representative from the mayor's office was noticeably absent.
The meeting marks the end to a series of hearings held across the five boroughs to address the issue. City Council members say they plan on using the testimonies as they further their investigation.
