BROOKLYN - A bodega in Brooklyn has turned a new corner in helping make fresh produce more accessible.

Herrera Deli Grocery in Bed-Stuy teamed up with City Harvest as a part of its Our Healthy Neighborhoods program, which aims to improve access to fruits and vegetables in low-income areas.

City Harvest celebrated the new and improved store at 156 Marcus Garvey Blvd. with healthy cooking demonstrations, proving that there are tasty recipes for eating well.

Deli owners say they hope the collaboration will make it convenient and easy for their neighborhood customers to develop better eating habits.
