BROOKLYN - Lawmakers are looking at several proposals to fix the trench alongside the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.

The Economic Development Corporation and Department of Transportation are looking at three plans to improve the large ditch on Hicks Street.

Part of the plan is to improve traffic calming effects in the area. All three plans incorporate environmentally friendly techniques.
