BROOKLYN - Police say they are investigating a deadly shooting of a city worker in East New York.

Investigators say 54-year-old Gwendolyn Brown was shot in the head at 734 Pennsylvania Ave. They say she was found laying face down in her bed.

Officials say Brown worked for the Department of Homeless Services.

Investigators say she may have known the killer, citing no signs of forced entry or struggle.
