City worker sexually assaulted in Bed-Stuy park

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - Authorities say a woman who works for the Department of Parks & Recreation was sexually assaulted today inside a Bedford-Stuyvesant playground.

Sources tell News 12 Brooklyn the assault happened at 9 a.m. at St. Andrews Playground, near the intersection of Atlantic and Kingston avenues. Police believe one man is behind the attack.

Parents say they are stunned an attack happened in what is normally a quiet and safe park.
