BROOKLYN - Employees of the nonprofit Citymeals-on-Wheels are packaging thousands of boxes of food for home-bound senior citizens to prepare for Hurricane Sandy.

The organization delivers food to seniors 60 and older who can not get out to shop or cook for themselves.

Citymeals-on-Wheels employees will deliver the food to an expected 6,000 seniors in Brooklyn and hope to deliver the last boxes on Monday morning before Sandy is expected to hit the city.
