BROOKLYN - The city is now offering marriage-like ceremonies for gay couples in City Hall.

New York City has been registering domestic partners since 1993. City Clerk Michael McSweeney says the ceremonies will be a memorable experience for gay couples.

Civil ceremonies are being offered at all of the five borough offices.
