Claremont pool offers free swim and a meal

BROOKLYN - Residents are lining up to cool off in the Claremont Park pool and get free meals as the temperatures keep rising.

Families were provided with sandwiches, oranges and milk before taking a swim today and did not have to pay a cent. Children are not required to complete any registration to participate.

Free meals are available until August 27 and the pool will remain open until Sept. 6.
