Cleanup continues nearly one week after BK tornado

(09/22/10) BROOKLYN - Tomorrow marks one week since a tornado rattled Brooklyn.

A FEMA crew was surveying the damage today in the borough as the cleanup continues. Park Slope residents say most of the debris has been cleaned up.

Neighbors in Bed-Stuy say there is a still a little bit of debris, but they are making due.

The Department of Parks and Recreation says many city agencies have been working 12-hour shifts since the tornado to help with the cleanup. Some residents say they know the city is doing the best it can. They say many neighbors are cutting up trees and debris themselves and just waiting for the city to pick it up.
