BROOKLYN - After nearly two weeks, a family has been reunited with their beloved dog.

As News 12 reported last week, 3-year-old Chihuahua Coco went missing while in the care of Pet Buddy Services on Flatbush Avenue. The pooch's devastated family says they rushed home early from vacation after learning that the doggy day care lost him.

His owners posted fliers and had been searching the borough for 10 days, all while Coco roamed the streets alone. Finally, a good Samaritan called Monday night to say he had spotted the tiny dog.

Coco's family says they are relieved and grateful to everyone who helped bring him home.

The owner of Pet Buddy Services told News 12 last week that the employee who had been responsible for Coco was let go.
