BROOKLYN - Bright costumes, talented dancers and catchy music were heard as the West Indian Day Parade made its way through the streets of Brooklyn.

Many spectators added their own color to the event with flags, noise makers and elaborate face paintings.

The annual parade went down Eastern Parkway.
