BROOKLYN - Community leaders gathered throughout New York City to show their support for the fallen Officer Randolph Holder Monday evening.

At the Northern Command and in front of almost every police precinct in the city, clergy and community leaders stood shoulder-to-shoulder with police officers, saying that they stand with them against gun violence.

They called for a stop to gun violence toward the police and toward the public. They also said that while they respect the "Black Lives Matter" movement's right to protest, they believe no one has the right to call for violence against police officers.

Officer Holder will be laid to rest on Wednesday. Hundreds of officers and community leaders are expected to pay their respects.
