SHEEPSHEAD BAY - Community Board 15 in Sheepshead Bay is asking the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) to clean up its own building on Avenue Y.

Residents say the graffiti on the building is an eyesore.

The community board says the MTA recently had the overpass serving both the B and Q trains right next to it repainted. It is asking why the MTA couldn't have just finished the job and repainted its own building as well.

The MTA says the contract with the painting crew was only for the overpass, but residents say they really just want to see all of the graffiti gone.
