BROOKLYN - A few months ago SUNY patients, community members and workers rallied to save Long Island College Hospital (LICH) from the chopping block.

Now that the battle is won, the hospital still faces financial losses of $1 million a week.

SUNY is in the processes of developing a sustainability plan that has to be submitted to the state by June 1.

The Cobble Hill Association hosted a community meeting at LICH tonight so residents can be involved in the plans to make the hospital financially stable.
