BROOKLYN - Community members and local officials will bring in the Jewish New Year by feeding the hungry at Masbia Soup Kitchen.

The soup kitchen will prepare a Rosh Hashanah distribution of produce donated by farmers at the Union Square Farmer's Market, Food-Bank, Met-Council and City-Harvest.

Rosh Hashanah begins on Wednesday evening.
