Community unites for Bed-Stuy business

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT - The Bedford-Stuyvesant community has rallied to help a local business hurt during the recession.

After financial troubles forced the Bread Stuy coffee shop on Lewis Avenue to close down, the community raised $10,000 so the business could open its doors again.

The shop's owners say they are grateful to the community for its help.
