BROOKLYN - Rainy weather turned the borough into a slushy mess Wednesday.

Residents were doing their best to move as quickly as possible to avoid getting wet while navigating around huge puddles of melting snow.

Everyone is urged to take it slow on the wet roads and sidewalks, which may be slick in some areas. Roads may also become icy as the temperature drops.

Commuters should expect even more challenging travels Thursday when the snow makes a comeback.
