BROOKLYN - The borough's first Select Bus Service is now rolling, but many commuters are demanding that several busy stops be restored to the new route.

Councilman Jumaane Williams is supporting some Flatbush residents who complain that the select service route knocks out critical stops along the B44 line, including one that’s just a block away from a school.

Commuters upset with the changes also complain that the select buses are nearly empty, while the local buses are jam-packed.

The route travels directly from Nostrand Avenue and Avenue H to Nostrand Avenue and Kings Highway, promising a quicker ride between Sheepshead Bay and Williamsburg.
