BROOKLYN - Con Ed officials have confirmed that power has been restored to more than half of its customers who lost it over weekend. About 600 residents were without electricity at the peak of the storm Saturday, when strong winds, sleet and snow fell on trees weighted by leaves.By of 11 p.m. Monday night, Con Ed officials said only a couple dozen customers in the area remained without power.

Officials say they hope to repair all power lines tonight.
