Businesses along Coney Island's boardwalk are hoping for a big economic boost this coming Labor Day weekend.Business owners say they lost a lot of money

CONEY ISLAND - Businesses along Coney Island's boardwalk are hoping for a big economic boost this coming Labor Day weekend.

Business owners say they lost a lot of money last weekend because they had to close due to Tropical Storm Irene. Some of them only reopened their stores today.

They say the summer season started off slow this year and with all the rain throughout the summer months, many just hope this weekend will make up for slow business.
