CONEY ISLAND - An upscale clothing shop in Coney Island is celebrating its 65th year in business, and it's doing it in style.

Lester's held a carnival in the heart of the neighborhood to mark its anniversary. Games were set up outside the store on Avenue U, and children enjoyed egg creams.

Lester's has been selling high-end family clothing to local residents since 1948. The shop started out as a small, family-owned business, and while the same family is still in charge, it has grown tremendously since its debut.
