Firefighters at the Coney Island Firehouse rescued nine kittens and their mother last Sunday.Firefighters found nine kittens and their mother abandoned outside a garbage dump.

CONEY ISLAND - Firefighters at the Coney Island Firehouse rescued nine kittens and their mother last Sunday.

Firefighters found nine kittens and their mother abandoned outside a garbage dump. They immediately took them in to wash, dry, and feed them.

The cats are currently being monitored and are up for adoption in a few days.
