CONEY ISLAND - Hundreds flocked to the Coney Island boardwalk and beach today to enjoy the summer-like temperatures.

Businesses were also open, not only serving customers, but preparing for the holiday weekend.

Memorial Day weekend is one of the busiest weekends of the year for vendors and businesses on Coney Island.

Business owners told News 12 Brooklyn they wished the city had been more prepared for the crowds today, citing many construction areas still not complete.
