BROOKLYN - Superstorm Sandy took a big bite out of business for Coney Island eateries, but they're bouncing back with special deals this week.

A total of 16 restaurants are taking part in the "Footprints in the Sand" food campaign, and they’ll be serving up big discounts for the next four days.

The Brooklyn neighborhood was hit especially hard by the storm last year, and organizers hope the restaurant week will help the boardwalk businesses.

Grimaldi's Pizzeria is among the participating spots.
