CONEY ISLAND - A new exhibit in Coney Island is showing off the landmarks that have made the neighborhood so famous.

The Coney Island USA exhibit features works by five local photographers who capture the essence of the neighborhood year-round.

The photos also highlight the area's quirky local flavor, like the Polar Bear Club and characters from the "Freakshow."

The free exhibit is on display at the Shooting Gallery/Arts Annex on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5 p.m. It runs through April 6.
